| The Dixie: Parading looking good, but this is turf |
|
Pimlico 16 May: Parading, who improved out of all recognition to take the Bel Ali Stakes (G2) by 7 lengths over the Polytrack at Keeneland last time out, tries to follow up in the The Dixie (G2) on Preakness day. Can he produce similar form on the lawn?

| Preakness: Derby and Oaks winners set to clash |
|
Pimlico 16 May: Mine That Bird may simply have been the best in a sub-standard renewal of the Kentucky Derby (G1) and Rachel Alexandra may have been towering over rivals running to no more than allowance level form in the Kentucky Oaks (G1), but their clash in the Preakness Stakes (G1) will be a piece of racing history and the second leg of the Triple Crown series really is a race worth looking forward to.

After all, that race at Sunland Park was nothing much was it? Perhaps it was.
