Super Thursday: Mike de Kock runs two solid performers in the Burj Nahaar (G3), staged over a mile on the dirt track, and his star of last year, Honour Devil looks the most likely winner.
Should he fail to fire, stable companion Lucky Find is one who can take full advantage. He prepped well in a sprint here and also has a good chance.

Honour Devil, last year’s winner of the UAE Derby (G2),
was an odds-on loser here two weeks ago, when well beaten in third behind Dijeerr, but he is still the clear selection here. Mike de Kock’s stars seem to have been in need of their first runs at this Carnival, and Honour Devil is much the best in this field. He is in a ‘must win scenario’ this time, as he tries to get ready for a crack at Albertus Maximus & Co. in the Dubai World Cup (G1).
Lucky Find is the most likely threat, while Jalil has been most disappointing at this Carnival. Don Renato and Jet are both capable of making the frame.
A: 1 HONOUR DEVIL
B: 13 LUCKY FIND
C: 2 JET, 11 DON RENATO
