Monarchos, who produced Globeform 129 to win the Kentucky Derby by nearly five lengths in 2001, is the top rated Derby winner since Globeform launched back in 1992.
That was the year Lil E Tee caused a $35.60 upset with Arazi a well beaten eighth. Twelve months later the Run for The Roses was won by Sea Hero. Partnered by Jerry Bailey, he ran to Globeform 120+ and returned $27.80 for a $2 wager.
This year, Barabaro returned an impressive Globeform 127+ in the Derby. How do these performances compare to recent Derby winners, like Fusaichi Pegasus, who sent favorite backers home happy in 2000, or Funny Cide, who got the better of Empire Maker three years ago?
