While the bookmakers have some horses way too big in their future books, they also often list horses that are either very doubtful runners, out with injury or sometimes even retired.

Cityscape - will not run again in 2012, it was reported on BBC from Ascot's Champions Day.
Power figures at around 16-1 in many lists but the Irish trained colt has been retired.
Beauty Parlour - will not run again this year, trainer says.
BREEDERS' CUP LADIES CLASSIC
It's Tricky - injured and retired.
Potesta - she was retired after sustaining a bad injury on Sep 14.
